Default Toolbar Cascade

My boyfriend's toolbar used to display the horizontal row of minimalised
windows for each application he was using. Say four programs running, one
higlighted because that was the one he was using at the time.

Now he has only one minimalised window with an arrow. It is only by clicking
on this window that he can access the other programs he is using.

Can anyone help him to get it back to normal?

Many, many thanks.

This sounds as though somebody changed the way the toolbar functions with
windows. Did anybody download and istall the Microsoft Power Toy Tweak UI? If
so this can easily be changed to group taskbar buttons together. If this
program is on the system you will find it in All Programs-Microsoft
Powertoys-Tweak UI. Open the program and then expand the Start button and
Taskbar field. Then uncheck the box on grouping taskbar buttons.

Now, if this program is not on the system you can go into the Start and
Taskbar Properties and check settings there. Right Click on Start and select
Properties. Click on the Taskbar Tab and look for an entry that says "Group
simular taskbar buttons" and uncheck the box in front of it. That should fix
this problem if you do not have Tweak UI. If you do then just follow the
above instructions to change it back the way he likes it.

Have a nice day, Seree
