XP SP2 Laptop Internet Explorer page/ Font and NAV problems
With SP1 XP/Pro and MUI - no problems with IE and any webpage , and NAV 2003
- on both my laptop and Desktop (same apps/versions..) With Sp2 - the desktop is still well behaved however the Laptop is now different. 1. Laptop based Internet Explorer NOW is very fussy - * works with some sites and not others (ie displaying text or the underlying HTML with error messages) * even though the VIEW Text is set to Western (ISO) - the Font Languages persists in trying to display Chinese as default - it will NOT hold the Latin langauge setting. 2. Laptop Nortons AV (NAV) 2003 now will not complete LiveUpdate - whereas the Desktop does, as did the Laptop SP1 system. So what is required to get SP2 to work on the Laptop ?? Tom |
