Default How can I get rid of dial-up 9.5?

My computer is small and I barely met the qualifications to receive MSN
Dial-Up 9 when I first came across this comp.. MSN recently forced me to
take the 9.5 version and I started having problems right after receiving it.
Namely: I can't stay logged in on windows explorer for more than 9 or 10
minutes. A pop-up comes on saying that MSN has encountered a problem and
must close. I'm able to continue using Internet Explorer, however.

I "restored my system," only to be forced to accept 9.5 again and I need to
know how to get rid of it.

Thanks,
Maggie

Have you tried the experts in the MSN newsgroups?

No...lol! Took me 20 minutes to find THIS group. You wouldn't happen to
have a link to that group would you? Thanks, Tom!

I think you may mean you are having trouble staying on MSN Explorer. MSN
Explorer is a proprietary MSN Internet Service Provider browser that
uses Internet Explorer's HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) interpreter
in its data pane. Windows Explorer is a storage management application
that also makes some use of Internet Explorer's HTML interpreter. They
are THREE different applications with some overlap in function.

Try running Internet Explorer and accessing a web page without running
MSN Explorer. You may see a Dial Up Networking (DUN) pop-up to log in
with your existing user name and password. If that works you can use the
Hotmail link on the msn.com home page with your current user name and
password.

Subscribe to the group through Outlook express (or other newsreader)
news server: news.microsoft.com
group: microsoft.public.msn.dialup

Otherwise, your ISP might have a news server hosting the above group.
