MSN Messenger 5.0 and routers and ports
I know this question has been asked several times in this
newsgroup but I am going to ask again. I have a Linksys model BEFSR41 Router and I cannot send or recevie files or even tramsmit video or audio using MSN Ver. 5.0.0543 so I need to know what ports need to be opened up so I can use this feature. Thank You B_Top |

Opening ports won't work, as the ports are dynamically assigned. You need to
have the UPnP service running in your OS, as well as have the latest firmware revision 1.44.2 from Linksys installed into your router. If you already do, it should be working. If it's not working it could be due to the people you're sending to / relieving from. -- Erik Running: Windows XP Professional SP1 "B_Top" wrote in message ...
