Greetings Jim,

I don't believe 4.7.2005 has been added to the server which notifies you when a new version
is available. There really isn't that big of a change, but you'd like to go to 4.7.2005, you
can find it he

Hi,

What is the latest version of windows messenger (the one that come with
windows xp). When I go to the help menu and choose about - it shows my
version to be 4.7 0105, but I have seen some post on here that state a
version number of 4.7 2005. I have not received any message stating that
there is a new version like usually happens when there is one. When I look
for one on the web I am taken to an update site for the msn version. Thanks
for your help.

Jim
