Default Costco sale flyer observation

I was just looking through the new Costco sale flyer. I noticed that with all of the computers they are
selling, there is no mention of them coming with Windows 10. I wonder if this has something to do with the
bad reputation Windows 10 has earned with so many people?

In our new Cosco sale flyer, the computers are showing Windows 10
screens. What more need they say?

I see now how my remark was puerile. A one inch picture of a computer displaying a blurry image of a Windows
10 desktop should be more than enough for the average consumer to recognize which OS is installed on the
computer. Thank you and mea culpa......

It just says "Windows" here.

Rather non-committal.

They do mention Windows 10 on this page.
So it's not forgotten.

What do you expect from people who make
adverts ? I certainly wouldn't expect
competent copy/pasting. That costs extra.

My comment was about the sale flyer which arrives via postal mail, not
about the web site.

In the past, they would always advertise Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1
etc.

It isn't a very important issue, I just find the omissions to be
interesting.

I would expect that Costco, and almost every other retailer would
almost always sell Windows computers with the latest version of
Windows, and feel the need to mention what it comes with only if it's
*not* the latest version.

Most people would be very disappointed to buy a new computer and not
get the latest Windows version.

Hi, Ken,

I work 9 hrs/wk at a local PC shop, and given the comments I hear there,
as well as when I'm out and about, I'm not sure your last statement
holds water all that well these days. I suspect there's a lot more
folks out there that do not care/like W10 than pundits, reporters, and
MS do not know about or do not care about.

We get a decent amount of systems wanting to return to W7, too.

And there are people moving to Macs, no idea the numbers, because they
don't want W10. I'm off in a few minutes to tutor a new Mac owner.

I was in Costco a couple of weeks ago for the first time in months.
This store now sells iPad Mini's, to my surprise. I don't remember
seeing them before, just Android tablets.

FYI, I don't consider the Surface to be a tablet. G
