Default SearchFiles in Hidden Folders

-----Original Message-----
When I seach for "filename.txt" nothing is found but

actually the file
is in a hidden subfolder in "Documents and settings". It

comes out once
after i remove the "H" attribute.

Can I force WinXP to search all folders, including the

hidden ones,
in my hd (c:\) for specific files?

Thank you !!

Open search, on the left side, you may have to scroll
down, go to change prferences. Select Change files and
folders search behavior, then choose advanced (this works
with standard selection also), then ok.
Scroll down again and select more advanced options.
Choose the options you want, including Search hidden
files and folders.
