moving redirected files
I'm trying to get a my documents redirect to move from
Server1\redirect$\username to \\server02\staff\username. I've implemented this with group policy. I can still see the old server1 referenced in synchronization settings on the client. I don't see a policy pushing this out....the previously policies that did push this out has been set to not configured. What is the easiest way to clean this up. thanks |

If you are 100 percent sure that you have a backup of all your files then
try deleting the files on the local computer that are stored as offline files. Doing so may also delete them in the share on the server so that is why you want to make sure you have a backup. But after copying them back to the user folder in the server share they should synch back to the desktop. On your desktop go to Windows Explorer/tools/folder options/offline files - and try to options at the bottom for advanced, view, and delete to see if you can use them to fix the problem. You can also use the command rsop.msc to make sure that your user account on the domain computer is getting the Group Policy applied for Folder Redirection that you expect. The applied settings will display the GPO applying that setting. Steve "Homer J. Simpson" wrote in message ...
