Default Setting Up Windows XP For Spanish Speaker

Will;
1. The only way this can work is if you have the Multilanguage User
Interface (MUI).
The MUI has limited distribution and availability:
http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/D...qs/MUIFaq.mspx
With the MUI installed, you can use Windows XP Pro in English as well as any
other language installed with the MUI.
The MUI is designed only for the English version of Windows and will not
install on Windows of other languages.

2. You would have Windows XP in Spanish and no ability to change the
language.

Most Microsoft programs are available in various languages.
Check your supplier for details.

I am setting up Windows XP Professional for a Spanish speaker, and I would
like to know what is the difference between:

1) Installing the normal U.S. version of Windows XP and then configuring
it
for Spanish and adding the Spanish language and making that a default.

2) Installing the Spanish version of Windows XP.

Is there a Spanish version of Office as well?
