quick launch
how do I get the quick launch to show on the left side besides the windows
start instead on the right next to the notification tray. unchecking and checking show launch in the properties of taskbar will not help. this right side alignment of quick launch seems to occurs haphazardly in some ID and not in others |

quick launch
Right Click on the taskbar and check that Lock taskbar is not ticked. then
locate the vertical bar to the left of the quick launch click and drag it to the start button. the quick launch and taskbar will swap places. (you may have to drag the small vertical line on the task bar to resize afterwards) when done, right click on the taskbar an tick Lock The Taskbar. so that it doesn't accidentally get changed again. Hope this helps, Martin "gs" wrote in message ... how do I get the quick launch to show on the left side besides the windows start instead on the right next to the notification tray. unchecking and checking show launch in the properties of taskbar will not help. this right side alignment of quick launch seems to occurs haphazardly in some ID and not in others |

quick launch
Right click a blank area of the Taskbar and untick 'Lock the Taskbar'
from the context menu. You should see a small separator bar appear to the left of the Quicklaunch icons. Click and hold the left mouse button on the separator and drag it back over to the left side of the Taskbar. Now right click the Taskbar and put the tick back on 'Lock the Taskbar'. You'll need to do this for each user profile that has the problem. Mr C.
