Error in Event Viewer Security should i worry?
The following error msg is always logging in event viewer:
IPSec Services: IPSec Services failed to get the complete list of network interfaces on the machine. This can be a potential security hazard to the machine since some of the network interfaces may not get the protection as desired by the applied IPSec filters. Please run IPSec monitor snap-in to further diagnose the problem. Do I need to worry about this? Thanks in advance for any help. |

Error in Event Viewer Security should i worry?
Hi, again! not too sure whether i am connected to Domain(s) through
Active Directory or using VPN, all i can say is i'm using a desktop pc and go online via a USB Mobile BB dongle, i use the net for general browsing, e-mail, online shopping, occasionally for p2p. the IPSec is usually "Success Audit" but frequently Fails, then success again. I have re-installed xp and Virus checked, Antispyware etc. but no infections found. Bearing in mind the extent to which i use the system online can i disable this service?
