You will need to run the Audio/Video Tuning Wizard again and make sure you

okay gentlemen : I bypassed my router and went directly
through my dsl modem and BINGO !! sound and video !!..had a 30 min conversation with my friend so that means it is certain ports that need to be opened on my router to allow messenger to work properly..now I just have to find out which ones.Thanks for all the help.......Drew -----Original Message----- The USB mic is not going to work very well either, go get a $15.00 mic at Office Depot or such and plug it into the sound card on the back of the computer, and you should be in business.
