Hummm....let's review this with logic (yet again). I am supposed to stop
using a perfectly valid technique that helps me reply when someone replies
to me. Yet, because your newsclient is broken, it is my fault???

Of course, it has never been an issue of broken newsreader clients,
but of usage thereof.

Now, I dare you to meaningfully explain how that response, I guess
you deem it a reaonable explaination, is any except a self-centered
viewpoint exponding a self-centered approach.

The only thing self centered is you complaining because you newsreader is,
dare I say, inadequate. Rather than talking about the topic of this thread,
you choose to steer it in a different direction. That is the only self

Hummmm... You are a MVP but rather than helping people here with security

Again, it is totally the result of you choice to use the

Right. And when you stop reading "your" posts you may
start to realize how childish you sound saying such.

You do perhaps need to get out more Im and discover,
no - not other posts, but the importance of holding other's
values as important.

Cheers, anyway

Again, "ra", you have done nothing but hijack this post and other, which had
a serious topic, and turn it into a discussion about your broken

My NG client has no problems. How do you explain that?

And, what is it that you needed to do to place the follow-up
on your reply to my posting? If it was automatic by KNode
then either you defined a preference for it to do so for you or
KNode is broken in volunteering a follow-up header.
In either case, many, not just I, find it obnoxious.

Again, the issue is you (or your instance of KNode),
not the software of others.
But you will never see that, and I do not care to see you
attempt to explain that once more.

I did not hijack this thread, although I did note it to be inapproriate.

I believe I do assist.
That you can say that makes you appear to read only your threads

As far as I have seen during the past year plus, you rarely attempt
to do so, lest it is with a "get Linux" style comment. Talk of hijack!

However, just to reassure myself, I looked. (see below)
I notice that right about 50% of your postings under this name in
msnews hosted newsgroups in 2006 are replies in your own threads.
I wonder why.

You need to get these post counts up before you attempt to make
claims over your great helpfulness in solving real problems as actually
experienced by people.

(oh - in case you are unfamilar with the public origin of this info, yes,
one can simply click into any one of the threads to each of your posts)

Not when you hijack.

And you, not when you fragment threads

It only is fragmented when you do not know what you are doing! So from your
point of view, I guess it is....

That you can say that makes you appear to read only your threads

English please.

It is. I do not care to diagram for you.

Oh please...

As far as I have seen during the past year plus, you rarely attempt
to do so, lest it is with a "get Linux" style comment. Talk of hijack!

Like your endless rants of newsclients here in a thread about a new MVP
who
supported malware?

That topic was dead out of the starting gate.

That Microsoft gave a MVP to a spyware pusher? Not at all. If nothing else,
it signifies that the MVP does not mean much. You have one right?

However, just to reassure myself, I looked. (see below)
I notice that right about 50% of your postings under this name in
msnews hosted newsgroups in 2006 are replies in your own threads.
I wonder why.

Easy to deduce. How many time have you hijack the topic, like here,
forcing
me to try and steer the conversation back on topic for the sake of the
many
users here. What don't you investage that? Ah, I guess the truth hurts
now,
doesn't it.

I like the truth. I just do not see you displaying it much, certainly not
here/now.

The truth is you *do* hijack the topic of this and other threads. You know
as do I.

You need to get these post counts up before you attempt to make
claims over your great helpfulness in solving real problems as actually
experienced by people.

Maybe that is why you hijack posts like this one? Don't feel you can
contrube but *also* want to increase you news post counts?

Listen, I do not get evaluated for the number of news posts. I believe an
MVP does.

If I was getting evaluated for the number of news posts, I would use my
real
name, *like* *you*...

You clear do not understand how it works.

Funny, mine works flawlessly without any problems. I simply click and go.
You are having problems but, *I* don't understand?

Hahahahahahahahahahaha....

Thanks, for the chuckle!

As I see you are quite difficult to wear down, I guess just ignoring you
would be the best way to minimize your presence, ey?

I don't really care what you do. I never have. You're just learning that
now? You really are slow....

Roger, let's be honest here. Your whole rant here was not about anything
more than the fact that Microsoft messed up and gave a spyware pusher a
MVP. You being a MVP felt your had to somehow defend/protect Microsoft. I
would respect you more if you were just honest from the beginning. However,
you are not. As such, I view you, and your posts, as pretty much worthless.

In either case, ignore me if you wish. Never did care much what you did...

Why don't one of you try to describe the problem so at least I
understand what your problem is? See, this whole "issue" started by a
couple of people accusing me of using a broken newsreader, etc, etc.
Now, fair is fair, if anyone starts a conversation with such rudeness
I am really not going to take them very seriously, especially when it
*is* their newsclient after all...

What about the people that don't have the group to force the follow-up
to from their ISP?

Which is exactly why I set the "followup-to" a very common generalized
newsgroup. In this case "microsoft.public.security". This newsgroup just
about all newsservers carry.

By doing what you are doing, the reply will never be seen from you and
they will never be able to reply properly.

Read above...This would only be true if I set the followup-to to a
specialized, and hence non-popular, newsgroup...

Except you don't know what groups are carried by what ISP, and you state
you are trying to reach the masses with your message, but you don't seem
to care that the non-technical will not be able to properly reply to
your message due to the way you break the chain for your own personal
pleasure.

Legos,

Again, read my post. I intentionally place a very common group in within
the "followup-to" field. In fact the most common newsgroup. Did you not
even read my previous post?
