Reinstalling XP home
I am reinstalling my 2004 xp cd and during the process the cursor freezes
with the dialog box that says "the software you are installing for this hardwa soundmax integrated digital audio has not passed windows logo testing". how do I bypass this feature during installation? |

Unplug the sound card, and install XP first. Once working re-insert the card ( after turning off of course) and try to let XP install new hardware. |

Another idea is: if you can find newer drivers for the card, then slipstream them into the CD. The new CD might install properly. It would solve the issue if you reload again in another few too. |
