Default Are there WIndows "7" related/specialized newsgroups?

I have some questions about Windows 7.
Unfortuantely I found no specialized Usenet newsgroups.
I expected soemthing like

microsoft.public.windows7.help_and_support

But I did not found them.

Are they already setup?

Not on the Microsoft servers, they don't plan to carry Windows7 groups.
They seem to be shifting support to a web-based forum. However, some
newsservers have a Windows 7 newsgroup called alt.windows7.general. Most
of the drones here will just direct you to the forums as I suspect MS
wants to get away from all NNTP newsgroups as soon as possible. Its only
a matter of time till all these groups are discontinued.

Microsoft has apparently decided to abandon USENET and force all contact
through their various Web sites.

I`ve just started using alt.windows7.general through eternal-september
and agent .

Microsoft and Google are not "abandoning" Usenet, they are doing
their best to destroy it.

Well, maybe if Microsoft does abandon USENET (do their current email
clients even pretend to support access to news servers?) their efforts
will wane.
