Several programs are available. One very good one in the share ware version
is Ad-Aware by Lavasoft. Do an internet search for Lavasoft and you will
find it. The Shareware version requires you to download updates manually
but it is a very good program for no cost to user. Give it a try, very user
friendly.

Go to www.lavasoft.de and download their spyware scanner.
It scans and removes spyware, and it gets updates from
the internet.

Hi,

I am now testing a program called PetPatrol, its not
freeware, but seems to be a fairly powerful program for
detecting spyware/malware/adware on PC`s. They do have an
eval you can download and try.
