Error107
For an unknown reason, all printer information is gone from my computer. In
'add/remove programs' the HP info is there. But under 'printer and hardware' there is nothing showing. I get error code 1075--printer spooler service not running. I go to 'services' under administrative tools' to change from 'manual' to 'automatic'. So now, it does show automatic, but it still won't allow me to add a printer. I still receive the same error 1075. Any ideas on how to fix this?? -- Roxann |

Error1075
Correct Error code is 1075. I have tried to follow the instructions 15-17
listed on someone else's posting, but I am unable to understand them. Can anyone simplify what those instructions are TRYING to say??? -- Roxann "Roxann" wrote: For an unknown reason, all printer information is gone from my computer. Error1075
Maybe this will help instead:
http://www.jsifaq.com/SF/Tips/Tip.aspx?id=10337 What they're trying to say is that the driver software installs a package where it depends on itself, so you must remove the dependency in order to reinstall it or it ends up in a neverending circle... it can't start because it's still looking for itself is another way of putting it. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "Roxann" wrote in message ...
