NetBIOS name resolution failure
XP Community:
Through the help of this forum, I discovered the problem listed above. In other words, my computers, both running XP Professional cannot share a printer of files, but can ping each other and themselves EXCEPT on a named basis. Computer A can ping itself as Computer A but not Computer B and vice versa. How does one resolve this issue? I tried to reset TCP/IP and the problem persists. HELP |

Which computer is providing name resolution? If neither are, hack your
hosts file and add the entries manually. "bob" wrote in message ... XP Community: Through the help of this forum, I discovered the problem listed above.
