How can I tell my current version of EDGE?
I'm running Windows 10 Pro (1909/18363.535), but I can't see in
Edge where to find what my current version of Edge is. Also, how to I access the Chrome-based version of Edge? (If I don't already have it?) Thanks in advance for your knowledge. (Since Woody said it was okay to get the January patches, I played "Seeker" this morning and asked W10 to check for updates. It said that I was up to date.) |

Open Edge then click on the 3 dots (...) in the upper right then scroll down and click on settings, on this new page look at the bottom item in the left pane and click on "about Microsoft edge" this will give yo the version number which in my case is 79.0.309.71 64 bit for the new version.. I found that before updating to the Chrome-based application, I couldn't follow your instructions. After clicking on Settings there was no place to go. But after installing the new application, your instructions worked perfectly. Thanks again. |
