Default 'ignore conversation'

When 'watch conversation' is used, the whole thread is coloured as well as
the specs sign at the side. Does anyone know how to colour the thread when
the 'ignore conversation' is used, please?

The topic of this newsgroup is Windows 7, the operating system. You
seem to be speaking of some email or newsreader program. That's off-
topic here, but you could have at least mentioned what program you're
talking about.

I don't think you are supposed to colour it.
I think it stops downloading any more posts to that thread.
