Default Unable to see cd/dvd

When I put a CD into the CD drive, go to my computer, and click on the drive.
I get I message telling me to insert a cd. I did have roxio Easy CD & DVD
durning software on the computer, but I gave me a message stating that the
trial period was over. (even though I purchased and registered the software.)
When I tried to reload the software I got the above message. Someone told
me that Roxio drag and drop could be causing problems so I removed it and I'm
still having problems. I tried to play a cd through Media Player, and I'm
told there is no disc. I did go to the device manager and I say the drive is
working properly. What should I do next?

Roxio for some reason set a flag (secret key)
in the Windows registry that indicated your
trial was over. A Reinstall will not fix this
problem as that registry key is never deleted
even if you install the product.

Call Roxio and explain your problem
