When you get your computer home DON'T install Windows. If you find you
re unable to get a computer without Windows already on it, consider this:

Windows has a special undocumented setting that says (essentially) "I'm
a commercial installer and I demand that you (Windows) do not **** up
this machine until the user logs on.". That setting will de-activate
permanently when you start Windows, so DON'T start Windows.
