Default Command line or pipe interface to Performance Logs and Alerts?

Is there any Command line or pipe interface to Performance Logs and Alerts
that will allow defining and alert same as in perfmon but without a gui?
Logman.exe allows defining the counter and trace logs but not the alerts.

I want some way to have standard alerts that I can remotely put onto a
amchine without having to define them with perfmon on each machine manually.

Thanks,
Dave

Did not really want to buy something. I'd still like to get the doc for the
named pipe interface so I can remotely define the alerts.

Btw, was this $15/machine? I went to the buy page and was told you could no
longer buy though it still allowed me to download. Hate to install something
with little or no independent experience.

Anyone actually use this software? Experiences?

THanks,
Dave
