Default "copy on select" and "paste on middle mouse"

Hi,

I'm cross posting since I just discovered this group and think its a
more relevant place to ask:

I am so used to the "copy on select" and "paste on middle mouse"
feature on Linux that I use.

Any way to emulate these in WinXP?

Any settings / tools / hacks greatly appreciated!

You are multiposting, not crossposting. Multiposting is posting on several
groups at different times - perhaps with identical messages, but certainly
with similar messages. Crossposting is posting to more than one group at
the same time. All posts are identical and most newsreaders will pick up on
the crossposting and respond in all groups as well.

Normally - this is a function of the programability of your mouse and the
software they provide to assist you in doing this. May want to download the
driver for your chose mouse from the hardware manufacturer's web page and
see what software they offer...

You could try this:

Thanks Stanley! That tweak is exactly what I needed! It seems to work
just great. I haven't looked into my mouse software yet.

Sorry about the misnomer; on the other hand, I'm glad I "multiposted"
for once since your reply solved a longstanding irritation for me!
