Taskbar Items disappear at start-up
Despite running Kelly's Taskbar Repair Tool Plus, every time I boot up most
or all of my taskbar items have disappeared and appear as "Past Items" in Properties. On everything but my email, right clicking on the Program Files in all programs has no effect. I'm having to re-intsall things to get them to work! Yet when re-installing the system usually "finds the process running" despite my uninstalling to make sure. The only items I like to keep on the taskbar are Seti@home, Incredimail, McAfee Security Center, and Intel Active Monitor. The only one that returns is mail and/or McAfee if it returns at all. All was well until this morning. They are set as auto in startup. -- Peter in Toronto, Canada. Windows XP Homes SP1 Pentium 4 @ 3.00ghz, 160gb HD, 1.00gb DDR. |

Well, I don't what's going on.... just downloaded a rather large security
patch from WU - precursor to SP2, and now, after rebooting, everything is on track.....?! -- Peter in Toronto, Canada. Windows XP Homes SP1 Pentium 4 @ 3.00ghz, 160gb HD, 1.00gb DDR.
