Default internet explorer 6

I have Windows XP svc pack 1 and Internet Explorer 6. I
recently started having problems when I visit certain web
sites some images do not appear. When I click were the
image should be the page can not be displayed. I
recently downloaded some spyware from download.com onto
my computer (adware6, Spypot, Tenix), but have since
removed them. I think this is what caused it because the
problem did not exist before. Could some of those
spyware programs be blocking certain images? Does it
have something to do with my firewall?

Thanks,
Brian

Hi,

If you are having problems with the images try this.

Clean your IE cache.
empty all the files in the temporary internet files folder.
clean the history.
do a defrag on your hard disk
keep your computer upto date with latest patches from MS and also with a upto date antivirus scanner and always enable your firewall.
