Default uninstall win 10 apps

When I uninstall some apps from win10, why is it they return like a
cancer or a bad hemorrhoid? They seem to persistently re-install
themselves and its really annoying.

It could be because you are not uninstalling the correct way. You
haven't given us any info about which APP you are trying to uninstall
and how exactly did you try to uninstall so I can't give you any
instructions in this post.

Fair enough. I right-click on the apps in the start menu and click
uninstall. Apps such as the Microsoft Solitaire Collection. I don't
want them to come back.

These are examples of Powershell Cmdlets.

# Type the following command to remove
# all Modern apps from the system account:

Get-AppXProvisionedPackage -online | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online

# Type the following command to remove
# all Modern apps from your current user account:

Get-AppXPackage | Remove-AppxPackage

To remove a single application, you would try:

Remove-AppxPackage FullNameOfPackage

You can list all the Apps first, to see what
the full name is.

Get-AppXPackage

If you haven't used Powershell before, you will need a short
intro on yet another web page.

"SetExecutionPolicy"

As well as starting the Powershell, either as a regular user
or as administrator. Just like Command Prompt sometimes needs
to be run as Administrator.

Thanks for the reply, Paul. Does the powershell method keep the apps
from coming back?

When the Creator "OS Upgrade" arrives in April 2017,
all those deleted Apps will come back.

I do not have a lot of confidence that Microsoft
will honor user modifications, in any tangible way.

If you want to make modifications to the OS, keep
a notes file with the details of the method used.
As in April 2017, you may need those notes again.

One other thing I recommend - before an OS upgrade
comes in, use the SnippingTool to record the appearance
of the desktop. For example, mine has application icons
on the desktop. I *really* hate it, when one of my desktop
icons disappears, and I have no record of "how the desktop
used to look before the OS Upgrade". If you take a picture
right now, this minute, you stand a better chance of
identifying what got *deleted* by the Creator OS Upgrade.
Then, reinstall the program that went missing.

Why just shut off all MS updates? ShutUP10 does a good job of it.

MS is the biggest threat to Win10 security out there.
