three different printers won't print close to custom size
Two Lexmarks and now a Canon MP470. Any pics printed from file are about 15%
smaller than the selected custom size, while direct copy prints are pretty close to the original size. A reformat and reinstalling various things have not helped. A friend with XP and an identical printer gets the same undersized results. I can compensate by experimenting until I select a size large enough to give the proper result, but what a hassle. Tech support for both brands says it has to be a problem in XP and I see no other possibility. This is a Dell Dimension 4550 with XP Pro. Can this be fixed, and if so, how?
