funny mouse.
Hello all,can anyone stop me going insane,My PC has suddenly started to go into full freeze whenever I right click on my desktop or in my documents, the hour glass comes on and stays on & on & on & on & on,I then have to either restart or log off and log on again, someone advised me to d/load "shellexview" which I did but it seems very hard to understand, they say freeze is caused by "context menu handlers" or "property sheet handlers" or "Icon handlers" ..this is way above my head, but I have been trying to sort it for weeks,I don`t want to disable files that I am not sure about and make the situation worse,,,Helppppppp..Mayanbilly

I'm sorry, but ShellExView is the easiest way to troubleshoot these issues. You are looking only for context menu entries that are not from Microsoft. it looks like a very helpful site, but I want to learn to fix these problems myself,I was hoping that someone would be able to instruct me how, such as what damaging files to disable in shellexview,so as I can do the job myself,I always think that you should learn something by having these problems.thank you all the same....mayanbilly |

Your number one learning tool is Google. Use what you find in ShellExView as a search term and do the research. This will tell you what the items are and whether they are crucial.
