computer crashed
my desktop computer crashed. i had win xp installed and i had an iomega 350g external hard drive that i backed up my computer on to. i now have a new laptop, vista and when i attach the external drive it prompts me to format the drive before i can open anything. what can i do to transfer the data on my old computer to the new laptop. if i format the drive i will loose all the information that i backed up.
