Yes, unless your existing video card has outputs for two monitors.

But you do need a card that will support Dual Monitor, Matrox
makes a card for that and also Apian makes one too.

What is a "windows xp video card"?

I used to have 2 video cards, but now have one video card with two outputs. I
switched after I upgraded to XP.
