Default Windows Installer

I have also had a similar problem in the past. I think
it has to do with Office and some kinda bug. My only way
to stop this was a full reinstall, or if you are running
2000/XP just pop in the install cd, boot from it and run
the reinstall/repair, that should fix your problem
without losing your files, but you may have to reinstall
some of the programs and user accounts. If you do lose
the user accounts, the files are still there, but under
documents and settings. You may not be able to access
these files if you do not unlock them before the
reinstall. So enable other users to access those files.

I have multiple copies of windows installer running . I
close one out and another appears. When computer starts
up installer reappears. How do I get rid of this
annoyance?
