Default screen capture

Dont know what you are trying to do.But if you just want
simple screen capture, then press the "print screen" button
paste it in a photo viewer software, like Paintshop Pro and
then save it.Get back if I am on the wrong track.

-----Original Message-----
I need advice and hopefully someone here can help. I am
trying to do screencaptures from a DVD using either Power
DVD or the microsoft media player. So far I have
downloaded various programs the latest being Snag-It.
When I follow the directions and capture a region, In the
preview box there is the image I have captured. But when
I save it to My Photos all I get is a black rectangle.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a program out there that
will allow me to capture images from DVDs using the media
player programs I have. I am not very good at using
computers and need something that will work but is simple
to use. This has been driving me crazy for days and I
can use all the help I can get. Thanks.
Linda
