Microsoft Utility to improve the visibility of text

Microsoft use to have a small program that permitted the adjustment of
the "boldenness" of the text in small increments.
I can't find it . Any body knows what I am talking about ?

You may be referring to the adjustment in Control Panel under Display;
Settings where you can adjust the relative size of the text fonts by a
percentage... or you might be looking for Clear Type which will adjust the
clarity and 'crispness of the text.. You can get Clear Type by browsing for
it and it will adjust the sharpness of the text and you can go into Control
Panel and do the other also, they both work just fine; Clear Type is one of
the best ideas Microsoft has ever come-up with...
