Two Questions
1. I have a new PC Win 7. I don't see a Recent Items. Where did it go?
2. On the same PC, I see a folder construction that looks like Wayne - me AppData Contacts Desktop ... Searches Why horizontal? Can I make them vertical? On this PC they are vertical, but many more added. (No question here, since this PC is older. ) |

(Can you provide a pic) The tinypic.com site requires no registration. Simply locate a GIF or a JPG of the screen, upload it. The website uses a Captcha to prevent spamming. Once the "links" page appears after the image is uploaded, extract that link and post it in a message here. This example, shows the web page as it might appear to others. Right-clicking the main image in the lower right and select "View Image" can remove the extraneous decoration. This would be the link copied from the "links" page after an upload. http://i60.tinypic.com/69gmtw.gif Naturally, if you have NoScript, Javascript turned off, you might see something different than I do. The picture itself though (as long as it appears), should look the same to you as it does to me. Other photo sharing sites require the user to set up an account. ImageShack.us used to be account-free, but switched to a "facebook user ID" account method. At which point I promptly dropped them. The nice thing about ImageShack, is I could submit simply huge pictures. Pictures that looked like a film strip. Tinypic is for "tiny pictures". Paul |

Normally I'd agree with you, but in this case BobbyM's solution was directly in line with Winker's, only three posts before it in the thread. Thanks, John, but we don't all thread things the same way, so I have no idea which posts you're referring to. (But to keep everyone happy, here's what he said: "Right click on the start button; select properties; on the start tab, click on customize; find "recent items" in the list & check it if it's not already checked; click OK.") I guess you're assuming that this was the solution to Mr. Watson's issue, which may or may not be the case. Thanks for reposting it, just in case. -- Char Jackson |
