Default Any computer genius help me, I have no sound coming from my speake

HI,

I'm using window media player 10 and Windows xp service pack 2,there is no
sound coming from my speakers but the music seems to play.
I can hear music from the Headphones when I play CD also when I connect my
speakers to headphone jack.

I cannot hear music downloaded from websites or window media player. Nothing
has been muted everything is okay have bought new speakers but still I
experience the same problem. I have already tried to reinstall my sound
drivers and it says that they are working properly. I have checked everything
and show everything is okay.

Currently I'm using VIA AC'97 ENHANCED AUDIO CONTROLLER (WDM) But When I go
to windows update it says to download VINYL AC'97 CODEC COMBO DRIVER (WDM) so
after when I finish to install this it comes the bigger problem even the
music won't play again and no sound, ALSO ON THIS VINYL AC'97 CODEC COMBO
DRIVER (WDM) IT SAYS THIS DEVICE CANNOT START (CODE 10).

After finish installing the new update, window media player says the
following:

C00D11BA: Cannot play the file
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with
your sound device, such as a sound card or sound controller. You might
encounter this error message for one of the following reasons:

Your sound device is in use by another program. Quit other programs that
might be using your sound device, and then try to play the file again.
Your sound device requires an updated driver. To determine if an updated
driver is available, see the Windows Update Web page at the Microsoft Web
site, or see the sound device manufacturer's Web site.
The selected sound device does not support Secure Audio Path (SAP). If you
have multiple sound devices installed on your computer, try using a different
one.
Your sound device is not functioning properly. To troubleshoot the problem,
see the Sound Troubleshooter in Windows Help or refer to your sound device's
documentation.
You do not have a sound device installed on your computer. Install a sound
device, and then try to play the file again.

To use a different sound device
1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Devices tab.

2. Double-click Speakers, and in Audio device to use, click a different
device.

Error ID = 0xC00D11BA, Condition ID = 0x00000000

Please note that I have done everything that I have been Suggested and even
sound troubleshooting but no answer. I have tried to reinstall sound driver
still no answer. Sound drivers says that they are working properly

So I have decided to roll back driver to the one I used before and music
plays but no sound. Please anybody help me with this problem I don't know
what to do. What can I do?

PLEASE WHEN YOU GIVE HELP PLEASE ANSWER ME IN STEP BY STEP.THANK YOU.
