Autoplay Media Type Missing
On the AutoPlay tab for my CD-RW drive, the option for Recordable CD in the
select content type box is missing. It has: Music files Pictures Video files Mixed content Music CD It used to have a Recordable CD choice after those to set what would happen when a blank CD was inserted. Strangely enough, this option has gone missing on two different computers. Also, on the DVD drive AutoPlay tab, an option for HD DVD movies appeared, making me think that maybe these changes in behavior were caused by a Microsoft update. Nevertheless, the blank CD option should not have disappeared. Any ideas on how to get it back? |

My system does not show that option either (I do have a burner). It's
probably the update. -- Was this helpful? Then click the "Yes" button below. Voting helps the web interface. Mark L. Autoplay Media Type Missing
I have the same problem with the Blank CD content type not being listed as an
option for Autoplay, even though I have a CD-RW drive that otherwise works fine, including burning CDs. Does anyone know for sure whether or not this is a Microsoft problem, and if so, how soon they plan to release a fix for it? "Mark L.
