double msn.
Interesting problem I have is that the old msn messenger
4.7 logs me on automatically *it was never set this way* but I only use the messenger 6.1 version. The 6.1 version was set to automatically log me in. Somehow the software or maybe just me is messing up and it double logs. It'll log into 6.1 then version 4.7 then I'll have to manually log into version 6.1. Of course I don't think you can get rid of version 4.7 because it's connected to outlook express and many other things in the OS. Any solutions? |

double msn.
Hi,
To Prevent Windows Messenger from Running on a Windows XP-Based Computer http://support.microsoft.com/default...roduct=WinMsgr When you do this your Windows Messenger won't show up in your taskbar anymore However if you want to completely remove/uninstall Windows Messenger from Windows XP can be found at this website made by Jonathan Kay. http://messenger.jonathankay.com/problem.aspx?ID=7 Follow the steps and the pictures that the website has and you shouldn't have anymore problems. Uninstalling Windows Messenger can disable some of the messenger features such as Whiteboard Sharing, and others on MSN Messenger if you're using that. -- Gary Tsang Microsoft MVP - Windows XP Shell/User http://www.microsoft.com/mvp wrote in message ...
