Default messenger audio option

-----Original Message-----
Hi, I have been trying to use the audio communication

for
messenger but cannot get it to work bettween me and my
friend's computers (both XP). On occation I have been
able to talk to him but he has never been able to talk

to
me. We bith have spent hours configuring our audio
options and so it dosent seem to be a simple answer. we
both (naturaly) have microphones and we both have

working
speakers but seem to be at a loss.
If you know how to fix this please reply. Thanks.
