Default Drivers for Multimedia Video Controller

I just installed Windows 7 Professional on my HP m7640n pc and used to be
able to watch live tv via the Multimedia Center TV Option. Device manager
shows under Other Devices, a yellow thing in front of Multimedia Video
Controller. I tryed to update the drivers for this issue but both my
computer and the web could not find any. HELP if you can.
Thanks,

If what you are referring to is a ATI Multimedia Center then sometimes
when you are first on the block to get a new OS the drivers for your
existing devices lag behind.

Try the Vista drivers, there's no reason (other than HP deciding to be
stupid) that they shouldn't work in Win7...

32 bit

64 bit....

there are none. 64 bit drivers for TV Tuners are hard to come by.... unless
it's a current model product. Hauppauge make some good ones.
www.hauppauge.com. You may have to change the tuner if you want to run 64
bit Win7.

Of course you can wait until Win7 is actually released and then nag HP
endlessly until they decide whether they will or will not rewrite the
drivers for you. But at this point in time, it's pretty useless to even
try. Keep trying Windows Update, with any luck they will appear there
before October. Keep a check on the System Tray and the Solution Center may
just pop up one day and say it's found them.
