Default Losing connection to a shared local printer

I have a network of 8 PCs all running XP Pro. I have two printers
attached locally to two of these PCs and two printers attached
directly to the network. My problem is that one of my PCs is losing
the connection to the shared local PCs. Everyone else can print to
these printers, and this PC can print to the network printers, but it
loses the connection to both local shared printers(usually within
20-30 minutes after reconnecting).

I had troubleshooted all of the obvious things like deleting and
recreating the printer. Any one else seen this problem?

Thanks in advance, Peter Renton

Try running windows update. Make sure you have the latest service pack installed.
Turning off power management on your printer ports do the trick also.
