Since the yet-to-be-developed SP2 won't be released until late
this year, no one knows what the requirements will be to install it. --=20 Nicholas --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Chris Zotos" wrote in message: =20 ... | Hi there people! |=20 | Do I need to have Microsoft's Service Pack 1 installed on=20 | my computer before I install Service Pack 2? Windows XP Professional You will need to install SP1 or SP1a to install updates which are classed as SP2 in the title. Service packages usually consolidate the individual updates into a single download or CD. One would expect that the service pack would have the same requirements as the individual component updates released during the interval between services packs. -- Earl F. Parrish |
