Default Cannot get IIS running on my XP Pro SP3 laptop

Hi there

I have XP Professional SP3. When I try to add in IIS I get errors - firstly
asking for the CD (which I have and browse to) then looking for a file (which is
in the i386 folder of the CD and which I browse to) but it still gives an error
of "File copy operations were canceled. Setup cannot continue."

I have a web development project I have to get done for work. I really need
IIS running on my laptop but have not to date found any answers to this problem.
I can't find any forums on microsoft support sites that explain well enough
how to fix this.

Anyone got any bright ideas? I tried a fix programme that was suggested in one
forum - but this didn't work. I uninstalled SP3, and this didn't work either.
I can't uninstall IIS cos it's not installed so that won't help (was another
suggestion). Are there folders sitting around that might have old IIS stuff in
them that is causing this? Where would I start looking for that?

I would really appreciate any help.

Cheers
Kerri
