Default Video freezing aftr 10 secs

I have a .VOB file from a Canon video camera, which plays for about 10
seconds and then freezes. I've tried it on several computers and different
media players and it pretty much does the same on all of them. Other videos
from the same camera play O.K. I hasve updated the videodriver for the video
card though this doesn't help.

Is the file likely to be corrupted or is there another explanation?

Thanks for any help

Sounds like a corrupted file.

No guarantees but it might be worth a try
to rename it to xxx.mpg...import it into Movie
Maker and save it as DV-AVI or .wmv.
