Wordpad question
XP Pro, SP3, updated to the hour, Thinkpad T60p
Is it normal for the Wordpad 5.1 menus to have "Cut" but not "Delete?" The Delete key works, but there is no Delete by mouse. JimL |

JimL Hi Jim, Actually WordPad started out as an elementary programmer's SAMPLE word processor program in the Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC 3.2+) and was included "free" in Windows 95. (NotePad at that time could not open text files larger than 64K. The source code for WordPad is still available for download from the MSDN Web site for people who want to make their own custom program: WORDPAD Sample The Windows Application http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...tk(vs.71).aspx See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WordPad HTH. (Hope This Helps. --Richard |
