Default Easiest way to open a 7zip file?

How to open an encrypted file easy as possible?

The filename is "encrypted.7z" in folder "c:\files\other".

Can that a reference to that file be put on the Taskbar so that it opens
in 7zip?

Ideally, after clicking the Taskbar button, next up would be the
password dialog box, but that might be wishful thinking.

I'm having trouble getting 7zip to open that particular file from a
command. Closest I have gotten is opening 7zFM.exe but that opens a
random folder.

Thanks.

I made a workaround using scripting, so no big deal to me now.

To one particular file?

I don't know if your problem is one particular file, or unzipping in
general.

If you install the file manager xplorer2, it puts in the
right-mouse-button menu 2 or 3 unzip options that always work for me.

Unzip, unzip to here, ...

I didn't see the OP so I'm assuming a lot with this helpful answer...

o Install 7zip from http://7-zip.org/download.html
o Type this at the command line in the installation directory:
o 7z.exe

This is the output I just got from running "7z.exe" at the cmd line.
