Just for the record the author of Download Them All is working on a
WebExtension version, but has run into some technical delays.

If you need a replacement, you may wish to download Download-Star
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-star/?src=api

The same is true for Leechblock.

Ublock has been rewritten as WebExtension, I believe Adblock is working
on one. Both provide a similar function.

It should be remember the people who develop these extension may be
doing it in their spare time, and may not be able to meet their goals
due to other circumstances.

This information was all found with a simple search on Google.

I'm running Firefox 57 64 bit, and Adblock Plus works great.

Actually, the interface being used for the current extensions, etc., was a
security nightmare. It allowed any extension access to do almost anything
it wanted to Firefox, including adding secret data gathering tasks,
installing illicit software, and other things not acceptable in today's
security environment.

This is no different that one of the major OS vendors changing a feature to
block a possible or discovered security hole.

Losing the ability to run favorite software has always been a fact of life.
Personally, I would love to be able to run the original Sim City or even
Sim City 2000 on my Windows 10 machine. If anyone reading this has figured
this out, please let me know.

"Set the game to run in 256 Colors compatibility mode.

This will not fix the problem on Windows 8, 8.1 and 10
since they are locked in 32-bit depth, and 256-color mode
is simply emulated without actually being used.
"

There's also some sort of installer with a patch.
