I think MozBackup, as you might expect from the name, is for Mozilla
products only - which would be Firefox and Thunderbird in this context.
Not MSIE, and probably "Standard Email" doesn't mean Thunderbird either.
(I haven't seen it called *MS* IE for a while!)

Have you ever heard about a petition, disagreed with it, but been frustrated
that there's no way you can *show* that you disagree? If so, have a look at
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/232770 - and please pass it on if you
agree, especially to twitter, facebook, gransnet/mumsnet, or any such forum.

I think it's also not compatible with the latest versions of Firefox or
Thunderbird.

Internet Explorer is a web browser. IE doesn't do e-mail. You are
visiting a web site (which you did not identify) to use their webmail
client. The settings are in your account on the server, and nowhere on
your computer.

As for MozBackup, its last update was *6 YEARS AGO*. Did you actually
visit the web site to which you gave a URL? Pretty hard to miss the
orange-colored warning box at the top of his home page. Really doesn't
matter if MozBackup still works (although it needs to run under admin
privileges) since the OP asked about *Internet Explorer* used to connect
to a web site, NOT the e-mail/newsgroup client you choose to use.

I always used to use MozBackup, but a couple of years ago, it didn't
seem to be working properly for the latest versions of Thunderbird and
Firefox. I then started simply saving the Profiles folder. [The easiest
way to get to it is Help (on the top menu bar), Troubleshooting
Information, Profile Folder, Open Folder.]

However, this doesn't answer the original question. For other emails,
you might have to use an export/import (eg Outlook Express and
successors) - and for browsers, for 'Favourites'. Google should reveal
all.

Hekasoft Backup & Restore can backup the profile folder of the major
browsers available for Windows, it’s an all-in-1 solution for your
backup needs. With every update the software supported list grows up,
following you can find the actual full list. If your favorite software
is not supported you can contact us and we will add it.

Looks interesting (though the light grey text on medium grey background
is very hard to read on my version of Firefox [which leads me to ask:
does it require a minimum version of FF, or to put it another way, does
it work with old versions]). I _think_ it's only browsers it covers. (It
does include a dead link checker, but for IE only at the moment.) Free.

You cannot simply assume someone is honest just because they are not an MP.
