BTFKT swish
Whenever somebody tells me to swish, I **** off. I am so ****ed off at
what Windows 8 calls a swish. Every time I go to the right edge of my screen, I get important menus that I DO NOT want to see right now. I AIM for the scroll bar. I stop there. I get something like the control panel. Sometimes, though, my mouse is in the middle of the screen. I didn't swish, whatever the **** that means. I didn't do anything, but my control panel is open. I did not want to see it. For what it's worth, I'm not using a mouse. I'm using a touch pad. |

Over the last few months that I since I got Windows8/8.1, I have been able to turn off all of that garbage, and now have a nice working system. It has been some weeks but I believe that is caused by something call snap. Comb through the items in that show when you right click the MS Icon in the lower right of the desktop and you will find it. There are also some useable items when you right click the toolbar in the Desktop. The best is to be able to boot directly to the desktop, and you get rid of many of the Windows 8 irritations. |

Considering the nym you chose, you really do like swishing in Windows 8 because, according to your nym, your post is bogus. |

Windows 8 has a "swipe". http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...ipe-tap-beyond I don't think you really meant "swish" :-) That's something different. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swish_%28slang%29 I hear Windows 9 will have a "grope". I was expecting a fairly dull definition here, but I did learn something new today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grope Always be careful where you lock your bicycle :-) Paul |

So maybe swish is what gets your from one interface to the other? I hear Windows 9 will have a "grope".
