Binder 2000 with Windows XP or Windows 2000
I have a several machines that have Binder 2000 and
Windows 2000 or Windows XP installed. We have binder files that contain .rtf files only. Binder seems to work ok except when it comes to printing via the File/Print menu. When printing multiple sections at onece via the File/Print, we get an error message with "Printer Error" in the title and the text message is "An error has occurred printing section xxxx" where xxxx is the name of the .rtf being printed. The message pops up for every document (section) that was to be printed. If however, you use the Toolbar print icon, it will successfully print the current .rtf file. The print icon will only print the active document, though (as was probably intended.) The same binder file can be printed just fine via the File/Print menu on the same and other machines under Windows 98. Also, the printer works fine for everything else on the Windows 2000 machines. The same problem occurs for 3 models of HP printers and one Xerox printer. We haven't tried it with any other printers. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thank you very much in advance. Katy |
